The poor little difficult white golf ball that was only willing to circle the rim and not go in!

Calling ALL SPORTS REPORTERS! Best GOLF line ever:

"Hoping to card a birdie on the 18th hole, Tseng sent off her last putt steadily, but the difficult little white ball was willing only to circle the rim of the hole."

Yani Tseng weeps after failing to make a birdie putt to win LPGA

TAIPEI -- Former world No. 1 Yani Tseng wept after failing to make a birdie putt on the last hole in the final round of the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in Prattville, Alabama Sunday (local time), again missing the chance to taste victory.
The 26 year-old from Taiwan was just one stroke behind American Kris Tamulis when coming to the second-last hole in the final round at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill. By then, Tamulis, who teed off earlier than Tseng, had already finished the game at the top of the leaderboard. With two last chances to beat Tamulis to take her 16th career LPGA win, Tseng missed her first putt on the 17th hole, before failing to make her last putt count. Hoping to card a birdie on the 18th hole, Tseng sent off her last putt steadily, but the difficult little white ball was willing only to circle the rim of the hole. Eventually, she finished tied second with Austin Ernst, also an American, with a total score of 16-under 272. Tamulis won with a total of 17-under 271 in the four-day tournament, which had a purse of US$1.3 million. Saying she had no clue why she was weeping, Tseng told CNA via telephone that "maybe it was because I was so close to victory."
